Hello, I've been seeing traffic to my sites from here and thought it was high time that I introduced myself. I'm Chris from www.mellontuning.com I have a 05 EVO8 with an evogreen 20g, fmic, hks 280 cams etc... it's a blast to drive and DLL dyno shows ~ 380awhp. I also have a 91 Dodge Stealth R/T with twin 16g, fmic, heads, cams etc... which makes ~550 on pump gas and ~ 700awhp on race gas. I have some other websites www.racevideoforums.com where a bunch of us like minded car junkies post and talk about car videos. We like all things fast, doesn't matter what it is. I also have a network of video hosting sites http://dsmvideo.vidiac.com where you can upload to host or just watch videos related to DSM/EVO. On the nav bar there are links to the other video portals for other brands. pics! Mellon, you can post the vids here no problem but we generally prefer to avoid overt street racing discussions here.

if it helps, we do our thing at an industrial park that's closed on the weekends so we don't have much traffic and know the people who own the building on those streets My Evo on pump gas ~ 380awhp @ 25psi vs LS2 GTO with drag radials and 125 shot of nitrous Click here to see VideoMy Stealth on pump gas ~550awhp @ 22psi vs 400ci blown Chevelle Click here to see Video

Welcome here, nice to see a hi-profile tuner like you among us I always wanted to ask this; how does Stealth drive/handle/brake??

the car weighs 3600lbs without me in it so it's a little heavy. The stock brakes fade about 2-3 laps into a road coarse race so they need to be upgraded. The suspension was also stock until recently when I did new oem struts and Tein lowering springs. I haven't been to the track since I did the minor upgrade to the suspension. It's a great daily driver though and quite a bit of fun on the interstate. Mine's focus has been on 1/4 mile racing but maybe I'll get around to doing a nice coilover setup with some stiff strut bars etc... I took it to the drag strip once and at low boost (22psi) it went 11.41 @ 125. I opened it up on the street with 35psi a few times and it wanted to change lanes for me...good times

That's one quick stealth! Not that the Evo seems slow... There's a British guy here in Dubai who has 2 Mitsu 3000GTs...one for street and one he's preparing for track. He sometimes has a ltitle toruble finding parts and I KNOW he'll need a tune sooner or later...I'll let him know that you're out there

unfortunately we can't write to the stock rom on the 3/S so remote tuning is out of the question I'd have to be on site, any idea what piggy back or stand alone he's using?

Hey Chris, it's good to see you here. Thanks for taking care of my car.. it runs perfect. I might talk to you soon after my next modding I've beat up Mercedes E55, BMW M3, BMW 335i, and a lot more a couple of days back it was fun.. but oh well.. no videos yet hence I'm planning to get car camera soon
