^ 154mph trap speed is hella fast. this car should easily hit low 9's with the right driver.

;)
it looks like one of two:
1)driver don't know how to shift
2)suspension is very soft

fyi lower spring rates (soft) would yeild to good squat (weight transfer),where with too stiff suspension it starts bouncing back up and unloading the tires. thats why a soft suspension is best used when drag racing. I've learned this the hard way! :(

i didn't know.....
r u sure? because mostly it is other way->if suspension is hard-less movement of the car...

^ I always thought same as you untill I had a debate with well known tuner when I was shopping for coilovers.

to make it short, coilovers can help if you get a set that are NOT stiff - you want weight transfer. you need lower spring rates (stock suspension or likewise), then adjust them to where you get a good rear squat. I'd also avoid running really stiff rear sway bars as well for better squat.

Stiff suspension will only make the the car slide around more, not less.

notice what i wrote above is only concerned when drag racing. in road course u'll surely need a bit stiffer springs.

Just to add on to what Waleed and scarface have mentioned....

Softer rear setup also helps to absorb the torque stress you are putting down onto the tranny...Not too soft and not too hard, it all depends on the torque the car is making...

Honestly there are some more factors that need to be taken into consideration as well, types of tires, pressure setting of the tyres and alignment of the tyres. So everything has to be correlated and be setup properly if you are gunning for a FIA sanction quartermile timing.

Waleed i would recommend u to drive that evo! :-D
