it's a Saudi thing. Was widely discussed on EvoM.net some time back already. LT1 engine in an Evo, running RWD. They are trying to get it to run AWD now, but a lot of people doubt it can be done, and there's no point to it. |

Accordin to the owner, he did it cuz, Evo parts like spark plugs are hard to fine ... and second reason he doesnt like turbo lag. |

i really couldnt understand how someone can do this to one sophisticated car like the evo, removing the engine then replacing it by an OHV V8

That is just wrong. Please refrain from posting such offensive videos in the future. Etisalat should block material like this. They are not in agreement with my "moral and cultural values" here in the UAE. Everything from the sound to the burj dubai-style shift lever. Just plain wrong.
